Position: Construction Project Manager

This position requires extensive knowledge and direct experience on new construction and renovation work on all types of commercial real estate including of multifamily, hospitality, office and retail projects including preconstruction surveys, design, planning application, site work, foundations, super-structures, envelopes, MEP's and finishes etc.

This is fast paced work with concurrent assignments and frequent deadlines, requiring self-discipline, excellent time management and solid organizational skills.

Essential Functions: 

• Provide key input to the Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution, Project Closure
• Establish, update and write project procedures and Project execution Plan
• Leads team(s) in establishing scope, budget and schedule, and maintains such commitments through predesign, design, construction, and close-out processes ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule.
• Manage tendering and procurement procedures
• Review Design Consultants output with regard to contractual deliverables, schedule, and costs
• Manage and direct the project team and trade contractors to ensure project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications
• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit progress and cost tracking reports.
• Coordinate delivery of project objectives
• Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines.
• Serve as a key link with the clients and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto client.
• Receiving, addressing and settling all contractor’s invoices, claims for variance as may be appropriate and in a timely manner
• Lead and manage employers taking over procedures

• Fluency in English.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Skills in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit is a plus
• Experience working on FIDIC, JCT or NEC contracting is a plus

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years in leading construction activities
• Bachelor's degree or certification in architecture, engineering, construction or project management or related field.
